Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day support of the Sales team. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain Salesforce.com data and ensure the accuracy and reliability of data entered;
- Compile and interpret data and generate reports which monitor sales and related activities, forecast business, provide sales business status, and communicate pricing data;
- Distribute prospect information that has been entered into Salesforce.com to Management and Sales team; and
- Monitor changes in the industry and update salesforce.com as to General Council, Chief Compliance Officer, and other relative position moves within the Fortune 2000.
- Maintain all sales dashboards, accurate information on pipelines and renewal business, and all account lists up-to-date;
- Manage monthly win/loss analysis meetings with sales and marketing to provide feedback on lead generation campaigns and to keep current on competitive offerings;
- Assist with on-boarding new hires;
- Assist in maintaining sales department vendor relationships;
- Answer questions regarding Sales policies, products and services, and provide information to Sales, Product and Marketing, Client Services, and others throughout the Company as needed;
- Assist Sales team with information and sales support tools and samples;
- Work with Marketing in coordination of trade shows and conferences;
- Support Sales team through development of Request for Proposals (RFPs); and
- Complete any other projects as needed or assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years experience working in an inside or outside sales environment; Salesforce.com experience is required. The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Experience with Salesforce.com customer relationship management system required, working knowledge of the operating system and ability to create customized reports and dashboards;
- Experience selecting outside vendors, administering and managing sales databases including data clean-up, etc.;
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; must be able to report on sales activities clearly to all levels within the organization;
- Desire and initiative to work in a small-team environment with the ability to work independently and with the team;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites; and
- Understand and support the Company’s goals, business and values.

Reporting:
Will report to the Senior Vice President, Sales and will work closely with all members of the Sales, Client Services, and Product and Marketing teams, and others throughout the Company as needed.
Location:
Waltham, Massachusetts; telecommuting is not an option.
